Ya Hal Arab: A Call for Unity Tickets Selling Fast: Mohammed Assaf and Ziad Khoury in Washington DC May 11th
Arab America announced today that tickets for their upcoming concert “Ya Hal Arab: A Call for Unity” featuring Arab Idol and Palestinian Superstar Mohammed Assaf and Lebanese vocalist Ziad Khoury, are selling fast. Some sections are almost sold out including VIP.
“With just about 10 days remaining, we are anticipating a sell out event,” said Warren David, President of Arab America, “We are anticipating a true show of unity as the attendees along with several Arab American organizations will celebrate the Arab identity, heritage and the Palestinian resilience and resistance to occupation.”
Arab America is expecting attendees from Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Among other new songs, Mohammed Assaf will also feature his newly released song “Ya Halali Ya Mali,” The song recently released as a video was filmed at the Bourj el-Barajneh refugee camp in Lebanon; it reflects Assaf’s commitment to the Palestinian diaspora and his passion to salute Palestinian determination and unity through his music.
Ya Hal Arab! A Call for Unity, with Arab Idol and Palestinian Superstar Mohammed Assaf, will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2014, 5:00pm (doors will open at 4:00pm) at the Waterford-Springfield Banquet Facility, 6715 Commerce Street, Springfield, Virginia. Assaf will be accompanied by the renowned Lebanese vocalist and Arab Idol finalist, Ziad Khoury.
