Patriots & Peacemakers was organized by the Arab AmericanNational Museum in Dearborn, Michigan and honors Arab Americans who have served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces, the Peace Corps, and the diplomatic corps. It reflects their contributions and perspectives. Pieces of the exhibition have been brought to the U.S. Department of State by the U.S. Diplomacy Center and the Bureau of Public Affairs.
The U.S. Diplomacy Center (diplomacy.state.gov), a state-of-the-art museum and education center currently under construction, will ultimately dedicate 40,000 square feet to telling the story of American diplomacy. It will be located at the 21st Street entrance of the Department of State’s headquarters in the historic Harry S Truman Building.
