A delegation of more than 40 Tunisian women entrepreneurs operating in various fields will participate in the fifth edition of the annual forum of the International Council of Women Entrepreneurs (CIFE) to be held on February 26, 27 and 28, 2019 in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), on the theme “Digital transformation: a growth opportunity for women entrepreneurs in Africa”.
This is the first African mission of CIFE that aims, through this Forum, to develop a platform for exchanges and cooperation between African women to raise awareness of the digital revolution and to highlight business opportunities between women entrepreneurs of the continent.
The African CIFE Forum will combine conferences, exhibitions and B2B meetings involving specialists and entrepreneurs from different African countries.
The “Société Tunisienne de Banque” (STB) and the Tunisian Post are the financial sponsors of this forum, but they will also be the financiers of the potential partnership projects to which this forum could give rise.
Donia Hammouda, member of CIFE and Commissioner of this African forum said “having the STB and the Tunisian Post as financial partners is a chance for women entrepreneurs wishing to invest in African countries; financing being a key pillar of investment and sustainability of investments”.
Hammouda also said “the city of Abidjan has been selected to host the first exploratory mission of CIFE because it is a real gateway for sub-Saharan Africa, by opening on the various African markets.”
