Tune In For The Season Finale of 'All American Muslim' On TLC

posted on: Jan 4, 2012

On New Year’s day, All-American Muslim aired its strongest and most talked about episode to-date — a powerfully moving and nuanced look at the commemoration of 9/11 through the passionate eyes of the cast members and their greater Dearborn community. On December 31, Hollywood Reporter called All-American Muslim, ”groundbreaking”, “out-of-the-box programming”, andone of the best of 2011. On Sunday, Jan 8 at 10PM ET/PT, ALL-American Muslim wraps up the season with surprising personal outcome for many of the families featured in the series, in the episode titled Crunch Time.

In the season’s dramatic conclusion, Suehaila Amen makes a life-changing decision, which shocks her parents and sends her sister Shadia racing to her defense. Nina Bazzy takes a major leap forward in her plans to open up a nightclub, despite the wishes of many Muslims in her community, including her own mother. Nader and Nawal Aoude openly discuss the state of their sex lives after having a baby. And Coach Zaban’s football team faces its most reviled competition as Fordson High takes on local rivals, Dearborn High.

Let’s encourage TLC to renew the show for a second season by making the final episode of All-American Muslim the most watched show on Sunday night! 1.7M households watched the record-breaking season premiere, let’s send a message to the haters and make the show the critics have hailed as ‘one of the best of the year’, and a ‘game changer in reality programming’, go out with a BANG!

Tune-in for the season finale on Sunday, January 8th at 10PM (ET/PT) on TLC and let your friends and family members know to do the same. The time is ripe to help change the face of television programming.
