(WASHINGTON, D.C., October 16, 2024) Today, the Arab America Foundation launches its first silent auction supporting the Arab America Foundation and projects in Palestine and Lebanon, including art, jewelry, clothing, and antiques from the Arab World. The highest bidders will be notified during the Connect Arab America: Empowerment Summit on October 25-26 in Dearborn, Michigan.

At a time when Arab Americans are facing increasing challenges due to negative media portrayals and harmful public discourse, the need to strengthen our community and promote our heritage has never been more critical.

Proceeds from this auction will help us continue our mission of empowering Arab Americans, amplifying our voices, and fostering positive change through education, civic engagement, and cultural initiatives. In addition to supporting the Arab America Foundation, a portion of the auction proceeds will go toward providing much-needed humanitarian aid to our people in Palestine and Lebanon, who are suffering during these difficult times.

“Your participation in the silent auction helps us strengthen the future of Arab Americans while also providing vital support to those in urgent need,” said Warren David, president of Arab America and co-founder of the Arab America Foundation. “By coming together, we can make a meaningful and lasting difference.”

This year’s summit is a unique opportunity to connect with a diverse community of like-minded individuals, visionary leaders, and influential speakers. We’ve chosen Dearborn as the location of our summit—a city that symbolizes the heart of Arab America.

Over 50 speakers and performers have been confirmed, with more to be announced.

The Arab America Foundation (AAF) is a non-profit (501c3) educational and cultural organization. Its mission is to promote Arab heritage, empower and educate others about Arab identity, connect Arab Americans, and build coalitions with diverse organizations across the U.S.
