Season 4 of Arab America Television Premiers October 19
Arab America is proud to announce the premiere of Season 4 of Arab America Television. This season has both new shows and some returning favorites sure to satisfy all our viewers.
Returning shows include “Arab America Stories” and “Sleepless in Gaza and Jerusalem” now in their new time slots scheduled from 10AM to 12Pm daily. In addition, “American Radical: The Trials of Norman Finkelstein”, “Selves and Others: The Edward Said Story”, “Umm Kulthum: A Voice Like Egypt”, ‘Fairouz Live in Las Vegas”, “Chantal Live From the Pyramids”, “Voices Across the Divide”, “Cedars in the Pines”, “Slingshot Hip Hop” and a host of other returning favorites which will be aired during our initial Season 4 airing or during our mid-season changeover.
New for this season includes “Salaam Shalom”, a news magazine series focusing on Palestinian issues, a new “Travel Guide” series focusing on various Arab countries, their culture and tourist attractions, three new documentaries focusing on Syria and its refugees – “Displaced”, “Stories From Syria”, and “Small Hands, Big Help”, as well as other new documentaries. Arab America Television is also featuring daily at 1:30 pm a classic movie.
In addition, our “Spotlight on Culture” series highlighting music, art, culture and engaging interviews with prominent Arab Americans has been expanded to 2 hours during each segment airing daily at8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm and features many new additions and artists including GoRemy (a “Weird Al” style Arab American artist), the Philidelphia Arab Music Ensemble, Huda AsFour Quartet and much more.
