Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church in Potomac to Host 32nd Annual Middle Eastern Festival Sept. 25-27
Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, in Potomac, Maryland, will host its 32nd Annual Middle Eastern Festival the weekend of September 25-27.
Middle Eastern delicacies on the menu will include grilled lamb, kibbee, tabouleh, hummus, gyros, falafel, spinach pies, sheikh el mahshi, baklava and a variety of other traditional dishes. Both dine-in and carry-out food and pastries will be available for sale.
The bazaar will feature music and dancing on both Friday and Saturday evening, from 7-10 p.m.. Other highlights will include a raffle for a 2015 Ford Mustang; jewelry booths; international groceries; religious items; and children’s activities, as well. Tours of the Byzantine-style church are provided, for those interested.
Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church is located at 10620 River Road in Potomac, Maryland, about one mile north of Falls Road.
