Former Miss USA Rima Fakih announced her pregnancy on the latest cover of Marie Claire Arabia. Fakih shows off her baby bump while wearing a red dress in the October issue.
Back in May, Fakih married music producer Wassim Salibi at an elaborate wedding near Beirut in Lebanon. Both Fakih and Salibi are from Lebanon, but Fakih grew up in Dearborn, Michigan. Controversy surrounded their wedding because Fakih, born a Muslim, converted to Christianity before the wedding. Salibi is best known as the producer for R&B star, The Weeknd, who performed at their wedding.
Fakih is the winner of the 2010 Miss USA contest, which owned by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at the time. Fakih represented her home state, Michigan, and became the first Arab American woman to win the crown.
After becoming Miss USA, Fakih began her modeling career and starred on the reality television shows WWE Diva and Dancing With the Stars Middle East.
Today, the couple lives in Los Angeles, California. This is their first child.
