Recap: NAALA Inaugural Networking Reception on October 25
Earlier this week, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) held the Inaugural Networking Reception for the National Arab American Lawyers Association of ADC (NAALA). Attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals enjoyed a catered reception at the ADC Heritage Center, while having the opportunity to meet each other, learn about NAALA, and find out more about getting involved with the association.
ADC President Warren David gave welcoming remarks, and ADC Legal Director Abed Ayoub presented the objectives of the association. The level of interest in NAALA was apparent, as attendees engaged each other and ADC staff members in detailed discussions about ideas for the future of NAALA and expressed their desire to take part in upcoming NAALA events and initiatives, with some attendees electing to become members that evening.
The potential to bring positive change for the Arab American community through a national association of committed legal professionals is vast. Most notably, such a network will allow legal professionals nationwide to unite in addressing issues impacting Arab Americans. ADC looks forward to your support of the Arab American community through NAALA.
