Are you ready for National Arab American Heritage Month this April?

Arab America is getting a jumpstart on National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM) taking place this April.

If you recall, we celebrated NAAHM last year by highlighting major contributions made by Arab Americans each day in April, but that was not enough.

Arab America will lead the celebration of NAAHM once again, but this time with more vigor and enthusiasm than ever before. We are mobilizing families, school districts, cultural institutions, city councils, and student organizations to join us in a nation-wide celebration of Arab American heritage.

By starting at the grassroots level, we will place NAAHM at the forefront of American consciousness in no time, but we can’t do it alone. There are many ways you can join us in our month-long festivities, beginning with your financial contribution to our campaign.

With your generosity, we will observe National Arab American Heritage Month through invaluable cultural and educational activities.

Arab America will be distributing curriculum kits to major school districts across the country ahead of NAAHM. We will reach out to educators and administrators to ensure NAAHM’s place in American schools. If you are a parent, teacher, or concerned citizen who would like to see NAAHM celebrated in your local schools, please email info@arabamerica.com for a curriculum kit.

Throughout April, we will publish your Arab American immigration stories on our website and social media platforms to inspire millions of readers to appreciate Arab heritage. Share your immigration story with us today. We will feature 30 immigration stories in total – one for each day of the month.

Arab America Ambassadors will host events in their homes and businesses to tell their friends about Arab heritage and culture. If you want to host, or are planning to host, a NAAHM event through the Ambassador Network, please email representative@arabamerica.com.

We are connecting with Arab student organizations, churches, mosques, and clubs across the country to promote their NAAHM events and provide information about the month. Tell us about the heritage month event you’re hosting in April and we will include it on our national events registry.

Arab America will bombard the Internet with a day of showing off our #ArabPride. Share the reasons why you have #ArabPride on April 20 and we will feature your voice on our social media pages reaching over 700,000 people.

Arab America is also hosting a launch party of NAAHM at the National Press Club in Washington, DC with media and the capital’s leading movers and shakers.
