New York Arabic Orchestra Celebrates 10 Years With a Sold-Out Manhattan Performance
The New York Arabic Orchestra led by Bassam Saba celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a sold-out performance on June 9 at Elebash Recital Hall in Manhattan. This was the first concert of the year, from the 35 piece orchestra which featured selections that highlight the rich musical history, artistry, and culture of the Arab World. The show featured original compositions by Bassam Saba, and popular pieces from the Levant and Egypt with featured vocalist Naji Youssef covering the great legendary singer and composer Wadi’ el’-Safi.
