Peace Films is shooting a groundbreaking new film entitled Moozlum. Written by Detroit native Qasim Basir, it tells the story of a young Muslim and his struggle to find balance with his dean once he moves away to college. This film also shows the affects 9/11 had on our country from the American Muslim perspective by highlighting a young man from a strong Islamic family and how he handles the challenges of being a Muslim.

Moozlum positively portrays the Islamic community and sensitively analyzes the struggles many Muslims face in American society.

MOOZ-lum – stars Danny Glover, Nia Long (Are We There Yet, Big Momma’s House 1&2, Love Jones), Roger Guenveur Smith (American Gangster), Evan Ross (ATL, Pride), Summer Bishil (Towelhead), and Azhar Usman (Allah Made Me Funny). The film will also feature the film debut of Iman Siraj Wahhaj.
We are very blessed to have the opportunity to make a mainstream film about a Muslim family being told by a Muslim.
