Help Gaza Artist Fulfill His Dream

I am the international director of We Are Not Numbers , a project created to share the stories of the talented Palestinians of Gaza. One of them is Basel El-Maqosui   a father of five, teacher of deaf children — and incredibly talented artist.
Basel has been offered the opportunity to spend a month in Connecticut as an I-Park Foundation artist-in-residence , from Oct. 28-Nov. 23. Most of his expenses are coverd, but not all. He still needs funding for expenes such as ground transportation (including from Gaza to Amman, Jordan), accommodation en route (Jordan), food and art supplies. Basel barely supports his family. Without this funding, he will have to turn down this incredible opportunity!
