All the biggest names in music came out Sunday night to celebrate the 59th Annual Grammy Award Ceremony. While many A-list stars were flaunting their ravishing couture gowns, there were plenty of celebrities dressed up by Arab designers.
American country singer Faith Hill was killing it last night on the Red Carpet in her gorgeous red gown designed by well-known Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad. The elegant ensemble featured a sexy keyhole neckline and a center split, however, that is not the only reason she has been receiving so much attention.
When she was asked what she was wearing by Ryan Seacrest, Hill stumbled on the pronunciation over the designer’s name and asked for assistance from her husband, Tim McGraw. Hill severely butchering Murad’s name on live television and claimed that it is the “Mississippi way” of saying his name.
Seacrest ends the interview by joking with McGraw about not being put on the spotlight for wrecking the designer’s name.
Murad retweeted a tweet of the incident criticizing Faith Hill for not knowing how to say the designer’s name.
