For your consideration are two fossilized Moroccan trilobites found in Morocco from the Permian Age (299-251 million years ago). The Permian is a geologic period and stratigraphic system which spans 47 million years from the end of the Carboniferous Period 298.9 million years ago, to the beginning of the Triassic Period, 251.9 million years ago. It is the last period of the Paleozoic Era. Both fossils have been removed from the rocks they were found in, with one showing more detail than the other. The darker colored fossil shows great detail, showing all three lobes: a left pleural lobe, a middle axial lobe, and a right pleural lobe. The lighter colored fossil shows less detail and is still covered in some stone. Ribbing from the trilobite can been seen on the edge. Both pieces show good condition overall. They measure 3 1/16″ L x 1 5/8″ W x 7/8″ D to 1 1/8″ D. They have a collective weight of 4 ounces.
