Welcome to the Fold

Join us on Saturday June 22nd from 1-4pm for a Newcomers’ BBQ at Lake Temescal in Oakland. Join us the weekend after Eid for some food and community!

It can be overwhelming to find our community and navigate this beautiful religion when we embrace Islam. We invite you to j oin us for this monthly gathering to welcome in the newest members of our faith community. Benefit from a reflection on the intersection of faith and life as well as connect with others who have embraced Islam.

This gathering is for those who have converted to Islam or are in the process of learning more about Islam to build connections with others who have undergone similar journeys and have a good time!
