May 11th 2023 marks the one year anniversary of the tragic death of renown Palestinian Journalist Shireen Abu-Akleh. Please join us in front of the White House at 7:15pm for a community vigil to commemorate her life and honor her legacy.

This Eventbrite page created simply to spread the word, no tickets are necessary to attend the vigil as it is open to the public.

We will have a few speakers discussing the importance of press freedom, what she meant to the Palestinian & larger Arab community and allow an opportunity for community reflections.

Speakers will be announced in the coming days.

Please bring candles and share widely.
