Vamos Habibi!

Join us for the first iteration of our Vamos Habibi versus concept. Every party will highlight two of your favorite artists from Latin America and the Middle East. As the cross pollination of Arabic and Latin music continues to evolve and grow, we are excited to push the boundaries of both genres while still honoring their unique traditions. Our first party will showcase two global musical juggernauts. Join us for Bad Bunny vs. Amr Diab! Who will come out on top?

Arabic and Latin often feature syncopated beats, polyrhythms, and complex percussion arrangements that create a vibrant and energetic sound. Both traditions place a strong emphasis on melody, with ornate melodic lines that are often influenced by improvisation. This focus on melody allows for expressive performances and emotional depth that are perfect for dancing to.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin trap artist. He gained international fame for his unique style, blending reggaeton with elements of other genres like rap, hip-hop, and rock. Bad Bunny emerged as a prominent figure in the Latin music scene in the late 2010s and has since become one of the most influential and successful artists in the industry. Bad Bunny is the first non-English language act to be Spotify‘s most streamed artist of the year, and led the list from 2020 to 2022. He holds the second biggest streaming year of any artist in Spotify history, generating over 18.5 billion streams in 2022.

Amr Diab is an Egyptian singer, composer, and actor who is considered one of the most successful and influential musicians in the Arab world. Diab’s contributions to Arabic music have earned him various awards and accolades, including multiple World Music Awards and Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist at the World Music Awards. He is often referred to as the “Father of Mediterranean Music” for his role in popularizing the genre internationally.
