This ceramic course focuses on hand building. Our course objective is to facilitate an understanding of ceramic techniques, and discuss ways in which we can understand concepts of home and the spaces around us. IMAN embraces holistic health through creative expression, to promote wellness and healing. During this course, both functional and sculptural ceramic traditions will be explored. We will discuss the history of ceramics, and the nature and origin of clay. This course is intended for those interested in creating and learning about architecture and creating replicas of architectural works.
