About the event 

Join us at Busboys and Poets Books for the 2024 Gaza Lecture Series, presented in partnership with Georgetown University’s Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. As the crisis in Gaza deepens, we invite you to explore the history of settler colonialism, violence, and genocide in Palestine.

This event features a discussion between political scientist Fawaz Gerges, Professor of International Relations at LSE, and Dr. Nader Hashemi, Associate Professor at Georgetown University. The program begins at 6:00 pm, followed by an audience Q&A. Copies of Making the Arab World and What Really Went Wrong will be available for purchase.

This in-person event will also be livestreamed. Admission is free, but RSVPs are encouraged for updates. Come and engage with critical insights into one of the most pressing issues of our time.
