St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church beginnings was in a men’s meeting in 1929. The parishioners were all immigrants from the Middle East with the present edifice built in 1969. This church regularly hosts events to celebrate Middle Eastern culture by organizing festivals, cooking events and more.
