SACRAMENTO, CA
A space for Sacramento API individuals and families to process the ongoing genocide in Palestine, to highlight Asian solidarity for Palestine and our shared liberation struggles, and to support our Palestinian kin. All proceeds from the event will support Palestinian children and families through the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.
The event will feature the following family-friendly activities:
- Asian papermaking activity with Steph Rue, artist and papermaker
- Plant magic workshop with Jamie Cardenas, artist and owner of Magpie Alchemy
- Korean folk painting with Seonyoung Jeong, Minhwa artist and teacher
- Beginner hula class with Leimamo Azevedo, kumu hula
- Children’s table including free books for kids
- Art pop-up featuring local API artists + small businesses
Light refreshments provided.
