April is National Arab American Heritage Month. Celebrate this month and learn more about Arab Americans by attending this fun and interactive workshop led by Dima Ali.
This interactive workshop is age appropriate and full of colorful and rich content. It includes an educational presentation, artifacts, show and tell, a showcase of beautiful and colorful dresses from Dima’s personal collection, and storytime in Arabic/ English.
Attendees will leave with an understanding of Arab American culture and history. The program promotes the fact that although we all have many things in common, being different adds value to the human experience. We must celebrate our differences and not fear them. Child and family-friendly event!

ABOUT DIMA ALI
Dima Ali is a Muslim Arab-American Culture and Religion Educator/ Facilitator and entrepreneur. Dima is the founder of Being Different, a cultural and educational program about Arab Americans in the U.S. Dima believes that ignorance is the enemy of progress. She educates young minds and creates a space to learn and ask questions. Dima strives for representation to include and celebrate Arab and Muslim students and families in the community.
