With a name meaning “Hope” in Arabic, Little Amal is a twelve-foot tall puppet of a ten-year-old Syrian refugee girl. Since beginning her journey in 2021, Amal has traveled to thirteen countries, meeting more than one million people. She has become an international symbol of compassion and human rights, carrying a message of hope for displaced people everywhere, especially children who have been separated from their families.

Now, between September and November this year, Amal will journey 6,000 miles across the United States, visiting over 35 cities.
