Palestinian Cuban fusion food by local pop-up ASÚKAR
As we approach one year after the genocide in Artsakh and the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, Hokis (pronounced HO-kees, meaning “my soul” in Armenian) represents the indomitable and haunting spirit, our raw, sacred rage, and the blood red seeds of revolution. We reject the normalization of violence against Palestine and Armenia and are steadfast in our conviction to see liberation for all oppressed people worldwide.

Address: 3158 Mission Street between Cesar Chavez and Valencia. (map)
This event will be located at El Rio’s outdoor patio. The entrance and most of the club is wheelchair accessible including the back deck – sadly, not the yard. There are high lips on doorways out to the patio. There is one ADA bathroom located in the live room where the back bar is located, three of them are equipped with grab bars. Parking can be difficult. There is a lot across the street from neighboring Roccapulco, on the left side, $10. El Rio is across from Muni bus stops and 3 blocks from the 24th street BART.
