Join us for an insightful lecture by Dr. Amanda Podany on the Amarna Letters, titled “Securing Peace in the Ancient Middle East: Diplomacy in the 14th Century BCE.” This lecture, part of the endowed de Bragança series, is co-hosted by the Capital Archaeological Institute and the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at The George Washington University. Dr. Podany’s talk will conclude a day-long symposium on the Amarna Letters.
