JOIN US for a powerful and inspiring talk by Fr. Paul Abernathy who will speak on “Confronting a Slaughter: The Church as a Prophetic Voice in Ending Genocide and Apartheid in Palestine”, after Vespers (5 pm) at Ss. Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church (10620 River Rd, Potomac, MD 20854).
Father Paul Abernathy is an Orthodox Christian priest at Saint Moses the Black Orthodox Church in Pittsburgh and the founding CEO of the Neighborhood Resilience Project. A former combat veteran of the Iraq War, with extensive experience in Middle East affairs, and board member of Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA), Fr. Paul works to elevate the indigenous Palestinian Christian voice. He is an author, and has been featured in national and international media.
