About this Event
Join us in a day of solidarity with the people of Palestine, featuring offerings from friends and local artists highlighting Palestinian art, culture, resilience, and resistance.
This fundraiser event is an all day festival divided into daytime and evening activities. During the day from 1-6pm we’ll be hosting a Pop-Up Market on the porch and into the yard. Inside, we’ll have workshops and classes like yoga and DANCEmandala. In the evening, we invite you for an Iftar ritual and dinner ahead of our evening show featuring , a classically trained Palestinian oud player. Come for just some or register for all activities throughout the day- find specific event details below!
All funds raised will be donated to Gaza relief efforts through direct better able to mobilize given current restrictions and difficult conditions on the ground.

Each event /activity has a different price (see above). If you are paying for multiple events, be mindful to avoid overlapping times.

You must have a paid registration to attend each event. Unpaid registrations will be removed from the guest list after 24 hrs to make room for others. Tickets to the evening performance may not be available at the door, so please get them before they sell out!

<h4>EVENT DETAILS</h4>Pop Up Market (1-6pm):
- Come enjoy Palestinian food, check out the tea station, and get a coffee cup reading. Local artists and makers will be vending in support of the fundraiser. Create your own resistance art / posters and much more! Keep an eye on our for featured vendors ($5 entrance ~ no registration required~ cash/venmo @ the door!)
Yoga (1-2 pm):
- Facilitated by . Join Justin for an all-levels vinyasa flow yoga class! The class will offer invigoration and restoration. Justin’s classes are fun creative flows for anyone seeking grounding warmth, embodiment and joy. ($25 registration required)
DANCEmandala & Sound Healing (2:30-4:30 pm):
- DANCEmandala is a movement meditation practice. It takes movement (of the body, breath, emotion) as the object of meditation to be explored and embraced. The facilitator will hold a non-judgmental space for the community while providing soft meditative guidance during the practice. The dance floor has dim lights and no mirrors. You are welcome to find a soft gaze or close your eyes; do what feels most comfortable. No talking. There are no right or wrong steps in this dance; you are encouraged to listen to your body and intuition and to move as freely as you like. The dance will finish in stillness with a soothing sound healing journey to follow. ($40 registration required)
Teta’s Yogurt Making Demo (5-6 pm):
- Laban as a Communal Practice: Arabs are serious about their yogurt! Food writer, shares the story of his laban (yogurt) journey. From hitting the perfect sour notes to developing that delightful, creamy texture, he’ll walk us through this practice, the science of clay pots, what he’s learned about yogurt cultures, and why it matters to share this tradition as a means of cultural conservation and expression. Everyone will go home with their own jar of authentic laban! Space is limited, so sign up early. ($35 registration required)
BYO-Screen Printing (various times from 1-6 pm):
- Facilitated by . Bring your own shirt, canvas bag, tanks, jeans etc. – or buy a bandana or poster($3). You’ll be printing a custom stencil designed by Hannah, who will guide you through the process of screen printing. Inks, screens, and squeegees will be provided for use during the workshop. ($15 registration required)

Evening Show 7pm:
- Join us for an Iftar ritual to break fast at sunset. Each ticket comes with a meal for dinner catered by , a family owned halal restaurant.
Our evening show will feature a live performance by , a distinguished Palestinian oud player, trained in both Middle Eastern and Western classical music. He fell in love with the oud as a boy and learned music in the midst of war. It was his refuge during the Intifada in Palestine. Join us for an enlightening and immersive experience as Ahmad takes us on a journey through intricate storytelling and song about the history and composition of the music. ($50 ticket required)
After the show, stick around for a chill evening with tunes curated by , a Palestinian DJ!
We’ll light up the firepit and keep the porch open for good hangs and even better vibes.
