The Invisible Dog Art Center is thrilled to welcome Chef Abdalrahman Ayyad for a unique an exceptional dinner at la Salle A Manger (SAM).

Palestinian chef Abdalrahman Ayyad embarks on a profound culinary experience, where he seeks to capture and express the essence of the Levant through his art. With deep roots in the rich and diverse traditions of Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq, Ayyad’s work is a vibrant celebration of the region’s history, flavors, and stories. His culinary path began at the prestigious Les Roches Culinary School in Jordan, where he not only refined his technical skills but also cultivated a deep respect for the cultural significance of food.

Ayyad’s experiences have taken him far beyond his homeland, offering him the opportunity to work in some of the world’s most dynamic kitchens, from Hong Kong to the bustling streets of New York City. He has had the privilege of learning from culinary masters such as Nobu Matsuhisa and Jean-Georges, whose influence can be seen in his innovative approach to blending tradition with modernity.

Now, as he leads his own culinary ventures in the vibrant neighborhoods of Manhattan and Brooklyn, Ayyad is more than just a chef; he is a storyteller, using food to build bridges between cultures. His dishes are a tribute to the Levant, a region whose soul he passionately brings to life in every meal, inviting diners to experience the warmth, complexity, and history of the Middle Eastern cuisine that has shaped him. Through his work, Ayyad continues to explore, honor, and share the diverse and rich tapestry of flavors that define “the Soul of the Levant”, making them accessible to a wider audience in the heart of New York City.
