Presented as part of Carpe Diem Arts’ Cultural Heritage Series in collaboration with Montgomery County Recreation Department. Made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Carpe Diem Arts has teamed up with Montgomery Recreation to co-present a free performance series of cultural heritage celebrations, February through June of 2024 at four community recreation centers: Gwendolyn Coffield in Silver Spring, Plum Gar in Germantown, Long Branch in Silver Spring, and Marilyn Praisner in Burtonsville.
Made possible in part by a Challenge America grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the series continues in April to honor Arab American and Scottish American Heritage Month.
Audiences of all ages are welcome to attend the one-hour concerts at each of the centers, free of charge.
