Seyyide will be presenting a pop-up raqs sharqi performance (Middle Eastern dance, a.k.a. “belly dance”), accompanied by Anthony Geannaris on darbuka (darbuka/derbake/tabla = Arabic drum). This will take place at the Whittemore Park, which is outside the Cyrus Dallin Art Museum, at the corner of Mass Ave and Mystic St., in the center of Arlington.
