Campaign, Illinois. The paper discusses the impact of Syrian refugees on the Jordanian economy and infrastructure, as well as the challenges and opportunities for their integration. It argues that the Syrian presence has positive and negative effects on various sectors, such as public services, housing, trade, and the labor market. It highlights the role of donor funding and the Jordan Compact in providing work permits and development projects for Syrian refugees and Jordanians. In the end, the paper suggests that the human rights and empowerment of refugees are key for securing their economic livelihoods and finding long-term solutions.
