Dear Parents and Participants,

Welcome to the 2024 Muslim Youth All-Girls Camp.

Registration

There are few consent forms you need to fill out at the time of registration including:

• Liability Form
• Transportation Consent
• Release of Liability and Authorization for Treatment
• Photo and Video Release (available after the order has been submitted)

These forms will be emailed to all registered campers. They must be printed out, signed, and brought with you to camp orientation.

• YMCA Waiver Form(s)

Please go through everything very carefully.

Campers that do not have all forms signed and turned in by orientation will not be able to attend the camp .

If a camper gets COVID while at camp, it is the parent’s responsibility to pick them up from the campsite. Please be on the lookout for any (high fever, cough, headache, etc.) prior to coming to camp

Cost

Early Bird Before July 12: $150 per person

General Admission After July 12: $190 per person

Rules

In order for all the participants to benefit from the camp, it is crucial that the rules attached be reviewed with your child and followed during the camp. Please read the following Discipline Policy and Rules.

Discipline Policy

When inappropriate behavior is demonstrated or rules are broken, the following steps will be taken:

1. Camper will be given 3 warnings.
2. An age appropriate time out from the activity will be issued.
3. Total exclusion from the activity and work detail may be assigned.
4. A call will be made to the parents.

MY-Camp Rules & Contract

Please read and discuss the following with your camper(s):

1. Respect the authority of your counselors. Follow their directions since that authority is necessary for your welfare and safety while at the camp.
2. Campers must remain with their counselor at all times.
3. Maintain a positive attitude throughout the camp and demonstrate good team playing skills and sportsmanship. Do your best to be kind and to help others.
4. Dress code: Hijab, jilbab, long skirts, baggy pants, shirts up to the knees and gym shoes. If the dress code is not observed, the camper will be asked to wear the prayer skirt for the remaining duration of the camp.
5. Do not interrupt the counselors, lecturers, or your peers when speaking.
6. Respect the dignity and property of your peers and counselor
7. If a student’s attire is deemed immodest, they will kindly be asked to adorn their prayer outfits over their clothing.
8. In order to assist us in fulfilling one of the camp’s main objectives in building bonds amongst the participants and encouraging creative means of communication and entertainment, cell phones will be allowed ONLY during the designated break but will be collected during program times by the counselor. Not following the phone usage guidelines will result in losing the privilege of using the phone during the remaining duration of the camp.
9. Do your best to stay on camp schedule and arrive to all the activities on time. Please do not waste time when the time comes to sleep, eat, or wake up for prayer.
10. Swimwear: MUST COVER ALL YOUR BODY EXCEPT FACE, HANDS & FEET.
11. Maintain good hygiene at all times and always wash your hands after eating.
12. Keep your cabin and area clean and organized.
13. All campers must attend orientation.

Please note that MY-Camp Administration has the right to dismiss a participant from the camp when a certain behavior is deemed negative and/or disruptive, and if there is a constant refusal to follow the rules.

With the help of Allah(swt), your dedication, and positive attitude, we can make this camp into a truly beautiful and memorable experience.
