Egyptian Teenager Invents Million Dollar Biofuel
Azza Faiad, was fascinated by science, ever since she was a little girl. Her fascination led her towards discovering a way to use, used plastic and turn it into fuel. Her discovery is said to be worth more than 10 million Euro’s per year in Egypt alone.
Her idea if used globally will have a huge global impact. As you might know that the United States of America produces 31x more plastic than Egypt.
Azza Faiad’s, invention will be a big catch for potential investors and the environment.

It is not common that high school students come up with such revolutionary ideas, but this Egyptian teenager is different. Even though she is still in high school, she was able to discover a unique way to create biofuel.Some of you might already know that plastic waster is a huge problem in Egypt, and other developing countries. So this project is actually converting a problem into a solution. It is not easy to gain access to a research institute. Azza was lucky that the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute decided to take a risk. The Director even set up a highly technical research team said, Nourwand Sorour. Who is one of Azza’s mentors, and a student at Alexandria University.
Azza has received numerous prizes from EU for her invention, and other high school students should take her as a role model.
