Egyptian Premier League: Zamalek Defeats Haras El Hodoud 2-1, Finishes In Second Place

On Sunday night at Haras El Hodoud Stadium in Alexandria, Zamalek SC  defeated the home club, Haras El Hodoud by a score of 2-1. With the win, Zamalek secured a second place finish, beating out Pyramids.

Despite falling behind early on a 7th minute goal by Haras El Hodoud midfielder Amr El Halwani, Zamalek managed to tie the match in the 64th minute on a goal by striker Mostafa Mohamed.

The visitors would score again in the 75th minute on a goal by midfielder  Mahmoud Hamdy to put them up for good.

Zamalek has won the Egyptian Premier League a total of 12 times, their last title coming in 2014-15.

Meanwhile, Haras El Hadoud will finish 16th in the league and are set to be relegated to the Egyptian first division.
