The American MidEast Leadership Network 501 (c) (3) is a not-for-profit organization that aims to bridge professionals, educators and philanthropists from the Middle East and the United States through educational and cultural exchanges, which will inspire the emergence of future leaders in both regions who are equipped with a more thorough understanding of each other's cultural, religious and political lives. Our Goals are: To debunk stereotypes and misunderstanding of people through education, people-to-people programs, lectures and grassroots outreach. --To empower the Arab communities in the United States through, leadership development, and immigrant education programs. --To raise awareness of the common values and aspirations that young Arab immigrants share with their peers in the United States. --To promote cultural and educational exchange among professionals, educators, and future leaders from the Middle East and the United States. --To cultivate relationships between local communities in the United States to foster an environment of coexistence and dialogue.
The American Moslem Society is a non profit, independent organization which was established in the year of 1938 to be the first Islamic organization that has existed since then. Some of the Goals of the American Moslem Society is to achieve the following: * -To advocate for the revival of the Islamic values that are founded on justice, tolerance, and the repudiation of all forms of violence and extremism * -To educate the other community(s) about the justice and tolerance of the Islamic Religion * -To care for and protect the Moslem youth from the dangers of violence, crime, and drugs * -To provide public awareness programs and elevate the community
