Specific Learning Disabilities can be in reading, spelling, writing, penmanship, math reasoning, math calculations and math memory. Side effects can appear as depression, easy frustration, temper tantrums, school avoidance, emotional and social problems, anxiety attacks, strong avoidance of difficult tasks and situations demanding them, hyperactivity, and inattention. We provide complete diagnostic services; advocacy services; remedial services; education planning; information and support for students, families, teachers and schools; and LD training for professionals; internship, volunteer, and community service opportunities. Dyslexia & Dyscalculia Support Services also serves the Arab American community. The Arab American Commnity as a resource for the investigation, diagnosis, advocacy, and planning for academic and behavioral problems in school-aged children.
