The mission of the Arab American Women's Business Council (AAWBC) is to bring together Arab American business women of diverse disciplines and industries and to provide opportunities for them to assist other Arab American women grow professionally through leadership, education, scholarship, internship and Cultural programs. The Arab American Women's Business Council (AAWBC) strives to: 1. Promote professional networking and social interaction among Arab American business women; 2. Serve society through volunteerism and community service efforts; 3. Support the leadership development of Arab American women who aspire to increase their education by: a. Promoting opportunities for internships to gain experience and develop skills in many disciplines; b. Encouraging the establishment of mentoring relationships with Arab American business women. c. Encouraging support of Arab American business women already advanced in their career choice. d. Support Arab American student scholarship programs already established at various education institutions. 4. Improve climate and sensitize both Arab American and non-Arab American culture about Arab culture as in relation to women identity and concerns.
