Atlanta Palestine Film Festival Announces 2015 Dates and Venues
Atlantans are marking their calendars now for fall lineup of award-winning Palestinian films.
Planners for the 2015 Atlanta Palestine Film Festival today announced the line-up of fall dates and locations for this year’s Festival. Six different feature-length films will be shown. Here is the schedule:
- Thursday, Oct. 15, 7 pm at the Midtown Art Cinema, 931 Monroe Drive NE, Atlanta
- Sunday, Oct. 18, 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm, at Emory University White Hall, Room 101, with a meal served at 6:30 pm
- Thursday, Oct. 22, 7 pm at the Midtown Art Cinema, 931 Monroe Drive NE, Atlanta
- Sunday, Oct. 25, 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm, at Central Presbyterian Church, 201 Washington St SW, Atlanta, with a meal served at 6:30 pm
Film titles and ticket availability will be announced later this summer.
Last year’s highly successful Atlanta Palestine Film Festival drew hundreds of people.
The Atlanta Palestine Film Festival is a non-partisan, non-religious organization which supports educational, artistic, cultural and informational activities to increase public awareness of Palestine and the Palestinian people. The Atlanta Palestine Film Festival brings an honest and independent view of Palestine and its diaspora’s society, culture, and political travails, with an emphasis on the art of film, and seeks to expose the near 6 million diverse inhabitants of the greater Atlanta area to Palestinian culture and identity through its events.
