Are you Ready for National Arab American Heritage Month this April?
By: Arab America Staff
We at Arab America are excited as we prepare to celebrate National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM) taking place this April.
Arab America will lead the celebration of NAAHM once again, but this time with more vigor and enthusiasm than ever before. We are mobilizing families, school districts, cultural institutions, city councils, and student organizations to join us in a nation-wide celebration of Arab American heritage.
Starting at the grassroots level, we will place NAAHM at the forefront of American consciousness in no time, but we can’t do it alone.
There are many ways you can participate in our month-long campaign:
- With close to 14,000 school districts and over 100,000 schools, we need the resources to get to as many schools as possible. Arab America will be distributing curriculum kits to major school districts across the country ahead of NAAHM. We will reach out to educators and administrators to ensure NAAHM’s place in schools across America.
- Arab America is planning to host a celebration with key members of the Arab American community, business, government, and the media in Washington DC.
- Arab America Ambassadors will host events in their homes and businesses to tell their friends about Arab heritage and culture. If you want to host, or are planning to host, a NAAHM event through the Ambassador Network, please email representative@arabamerica.com.
- Tell us about a heritage month event you’re hosting in April and we will include it on our national events registry.
Lastly, Arab America is currently seeking sponsors for National Arab American Heritage Month. If you would like to get involved, please email sales@arabamerica.com or call our offices at 877-272-2944.
Let’s work together to recognize Arab American triumphs, leadership, and hard work in our country. Join us as we prepare for a celebration of Arab American heritage throughout the month of April.
