Arab-American Civil Rights League (ACRL) Announces The Awardees For 2nd Annual Fight for Justice Gala
On October 16, 2013, the Arab-American Civil Rights League (ACRL) will host its Second Annual “FIGHT FOR JUSTICE” Dinner and Gala at the Burton Manor in Livonia, Michigan. This second annual dinner will be a historical one for the metro-Detroit community and all stakeholders.
The ACRL was created in response to the overwhelming need in the Arab-American community for advocacy and protection of Arab-American civil rights and liberties.
On this night the ACRL, will host over 200 dignitaries, 1000 invited guests total, including numerous state and community leaders, elected officials, and civil rights activists. The Gala will feature 7 Action News’ Nima Shaffe as emcee; will award the illustrious Dr. James Zogby, Founder and President of the Arab American Institute, and Founder of the Arab American New, Mr. Osama Siblani. The event will also feature a high profile keynote speaker.
