ACC provides 26 scholarships to high school seniors from throughout southeast Michigan
ACC is proud to announce that we provided 26 scholarships to high school seniors from throughout southeast Michigan at our 13th Annual Golf Outing & Scholarship Awards Dinner on June 2 at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield. The funds raised at the event, through sponsorships, contributions and a raffle contest, benefited the organization’s Scholarship Awards, as well as Youth Programs. Two hundred and fifty people were in attendance at this year’s event.
“Thank you to all of the co-chairs, sponsors, businesses and individuals who helped to make this Awards Dinner a success. Because of their generosity, we had an outstanding turnout and were able to provide scholarships to a deserving group of dedicated students,” said Dr. Haifa Fakhouri, president and CEO of the Arab American and Chaldean Council.
Event co-chairs were: Faye Nelson, vice president of Public Affairs for DTE Energy and president of the DTE Energy Foundation; Sue Brueckman, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager Corporate Affairs and Chief of Staff, Huntington Bank; Ronia Kruse President and CEO, OpTech; and Milan Gandhi, Founder and CEO of Med-Share.
Scholarship recipients were presented with special tributes from Representative Klint Kesto. Recipients, and their high schools were:

Golf Tournament awards were also distributed to the men and women who were Closest to the Pin and had the Longest Drive. The Tournament Champs was a team from DTE Energy, which included Jeff Lebrun, Ryan DeKimpe, Inex Chavez and Alicia Ramirez.
