1-Mo’Rockin Fusion-Boston, Massachusettes

Mo’Rockin fusion is a Moroccan restaurant located in Boston Public Market recognized for their American twist on traditional Moroccan dishes. Their food is a flavorful fusion of traditional Moroccan cuisine and modern American serving styles. Their most popular menu item is their bowls, made from a grain base, with the option of Moroccan couscous, of course, then topped with a protein, Moroccan types beef, lamb, chicken, and even Moroccan style tofu! Next are their sides and sauces, most of the sauces feature Moroccan seasonings and influences. Also offer date shakes, Moroccan harira, and salads. Mo’Rockin fusion was founded by Moroccan-American Morad Bouzidi, who immigrated to the United States in his 20s and brought with him his love for Moroccan cuisine. 2-Tanjawi-New York

Tanger is a city in the North of Morocco, so the word “Tanjawi” translates to a person from the city of Tanger! Located in Astoria in New York City, Tanjawi serves a plethora of flavorful authentic Moroccan food for great prices. Walking into this small shop feels like walking into a casual restaurant in Morocco. The casual setup is welcoming and really makes you feel at home. You can get anything from sandwiches filled with sausage and veggies to traditional chicken tagine served with sauce and olives.
