The 2016 Ann Arbor Palestine Film Festival Lineup Announced
THE 2016 ANN ARBOR PALESTINE FILM FESTIVAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED
MARCH 10-13 2016
The Ann Arbor Palestine Film Festival (AAPFF), has announced the
lineup for the fifth annual Ann Arbor Palestine Film Festival. Opening night is Thursday March 10th which will
feature the short film, “ONE MINUTE,” directed by Dina Naser, followed by the feature film “THE IDOL,”
directed by Golden Globe® winner and two-time Academy Award® nominated director, Hany Abu Assad.
This year’s festival also includes seven other critically-acclaimed short and feature films. Throughout the
festival, there will be post-screening “Talk Backs” with filmmakers including the star of “ORIENTED”, Khader
Abu Seif, the director of the Academy Award® nominated short film “AVE MARIA”, Basil Khalil, and the director
of the short film “KICKFLIPS OVER OCCUPATION”, Maen Hammad.
