2015 National Fall Internship Opportunity at Arab America
Exciting news; this Fall, we are expanding our intern network to include Field Interns.
Arab America is seeking Field Interns to work in the following states:
Washington DC
New York
New Jersey
Massachusetts
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Illinois
California
Texas
Georgia
Florida
Intern Duties:
Interns selected will be asked to focus on two or more of the following areas
● Posting content to website and keeping social media sites up to date
● Researching and writing on, events , and culture of Arab Americans
● Planning Arab America events
● Representing and promoting Arab America at community events, and college campuses
● Applicants must be coachable, flexible, and outgoing
Requirements:
● Applicants must be enrolled in college or have completed a college degree
● Ability to use Microsoft Excel
● Ability to speak Arabic or any other language is a plus, but not necessary
● Interns with the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply: Media and Film Studies, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Arab Studies, International Studies, Political Science, Business Management, and Marketing.
Compensation:
This is an unpaid position; however, college credit or a stipend is available
