Rima Fakih's Elaborate, Star-Studded Lebanese Wedding

This weekend, Former Miss USA Rima Fakih married Wassim SAL Slaiby at The Patriarchal Edifice in Bkerki, Lebanon. Fakih and Slaibi are both Lebanese Americans but chose their homelands to wed this weekend. Two weeks ago, Fakih converted from Islam to Christianity before she wed Slaibi, who is a Maronite Christian.

Fakih’s wedding dress was made by famous Lebanese wedding dress designer, Elie Saab.

Among Rima’s bridesmaids was a fellow beauty pageant winner Kamie Crawford and TV personality Daniella Rahme.

The much-anticipated wedding was a two-day event, attracting many famous guests. The celebrations were held at Château Musar in Ghazir, Lebanon, where celebrities used the hashtag #RimaAndSal to share the wedding fun.

Among the guests was Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe, Moroccan American rapper French Montana, Palestinian director Tarik Freitekh, the “King of Romance,” Wael Kfoury, and singer Massari.

Also in attendance was one of Salibi’s most famous clients, Canadian singer The Weeknd, who performed for the newly weds.

The couple definitely celebrated in true Lebanese style with dancing on chairs, dabke, drummers, and fireworks.

Overall, the Beirut wedding looked like a big hit, with many happy guests congratulating the bride and groom. Arabs in the U.S. and around the world wished the couple a blessed marriage.
