Interesting enough Arabs own the large eyes with dramatic eyeshadow and tailored, well-groomed eyebrows. Keeping the simplistic complexion with the drama just for the eyes and lips. Let’s take a look into an Arab women’s routine for eyes, eyebrows, complexion and lips.
Eyes:
As previously mentioned eyes are an Arab women’s signature feature known for their beautifully almond shaped eyes. In order to perverse the smoothness and prevent fine lines and wrinkles, apply an eye-cream morning and night. Eye masks are essential to help with puffiness and dark circles. After behind scenes upkeep is completed, we are ready to polish up the drama. When an Arab woman steps out the house, it could be as simple as applying mascara or adding drama with eye-shadow, or both. To finish things off she may use a jet-black eyeliner liquid or pencil to angle the perfect wing from the inner and outer corner of the eyes for the typical Arabian look.
Eyebrows:
Fullness is key for the upkeep of an Arab woman’s brow shape. Threading has always been in the Arab routine for a pronounce structure using an angled brush with a gel to create structure and fullness. If you aren’t comfortable with a gel, using a pencil provides feather-like strokes to provide depth and contours of alike hairs. The shape of the brows are nontraditional compared to Americans. It comes in a little closer to the nose bridge and is elongated from the outer eye. When it comes to depth for color of the brow, a typical Arab woman applies hair dye or Henna. Henna provides temporary color and the most depth, whereas hair/brow dye has more flexibility if you decided to add gel or pencil for additional structure.
Complexion:
Complexion is very crucial and Arab women are known for their smooth, radiant – olive skin. Let’s start off with cleansing properly, morning and night with exfoliating either in the AM or PM. Cleansing gives you a clean pallet by removing impurities which allows serums and moisturizers to penetrate deeper. When you exfoliate you are allowing the dead cells to come off the surface of the skin. This will provide more radiance and smoothness to the surface which additionally helps serums and moisturizers become more active. Make sure you apply the proper based serum on your skin followed by a moisturizer and eye-cream, sealed with an SPF for protection. Your nightly routine will consist of the same steps but instead of a moisturizer every night, make sure to rotate with Vitamin A for cellular turn-over. It is important to turn over skin cells, which allows your skin to obtain topical products with more effectiveness. When it comes to foundation application, use one that perfectly matches your skin tone with the proper ingredients to compliment your skin type. Use a beauty sponge or flat brush for application to provide the proper finish. After foundation application use a setting powder, a soft blush, and under eye brightener to give a balance of highlight and contour. It doesn’t take a lot of makeup after you’ve prepped your skin with proper skincare.
Lips:
Not a major component? I think not, it is always needed to finish a look. Using lip exfoliants to keep your lip texture smooth and applying balms to provide hydration. It is not uncommon to apply a lip liner for fullness, followed by lipstick. If you enjoy to be natural for the day, it’s easier to change it up for the night. Nightly lips are more bold which naturally makes them look fuller.
Pout a little more and wink because Arab beauty has owned its uniqueness for centuries. The exotic look isn’t bizarre, sophisticated Arab women are known for their upkeep and sparkle.
